TUTORIALS
There are a variety of software programs available with which you can record all of your gameplay and immediately post to FragBrag. Here are some that we recommend:
Before you upload your video, ensure that is in an appropriate format. We accept a variety of file formats including: avi, mov, mpg, mpeg, wmv2, mp4. The file cannot exceed 500MB. To upload, simply click on the Upload button in the top menu bar.
Your video must contain a title and description. The more accurate and descriptive they are the more likely it is that your video will be found and viewed by other users.
The last step is to select the file using the File Browse feature. Click on the blank space next to the File Browse button to pull up a menu of your computer. From there just select the file you want. Then click Upload.
FRAPS SOFWARE
RECORDING YOUR GAMEPLAY
When Fraps is open, elect a hot key to record game footage and the frames per second (fps) of the video. At least 30 fps is recommended. To save disk space, you can use half-sized videos.

Open the game of your choice and press the hotkey you selected to start the video and again to end the video.
Your video will be placed inside the fraps folder as an uncompressed avi file. We recommend you compress the video before uploading simply because it will cut down the size by up to 90%. To see the how to compress a .avi file, continue reading below.
VIRTUALDUB SOFTWARE
COMPRESSING YOUR MOVIES
Open VirtualDub and select the video clip that you would like to edit/compress.
Got to Video > Compression or you can press ctrl + P
Select the codec you would like to use (our example uses XviD codec)

Click Configure. Slide the middle bar to the left for better quality (but a larger file size) or to the right for worse quality (but a smaller file size). The default settings are typically good enough.

Click OK then go to File > Save as AVI to compress your video.
That's it! Upload your video!
